Configuring Prompt Files in Logic+
Prompt files in Logic+ are managed through the Sharpen user interface by administrators with the necessary permissions. These files consist of WAV format audio recordings used for pre-recorded messages.
Uploading Sound Files
Administrators can upload WAV files directly to the system via the Logic+ Prompts page, where all uploaded sound files are accessible by navigating Admin → Configuration → Logic+, selecting Prompts.
File Requirements
When uploading prompt files, please ensure they meet the following format specifications:
File Type: WAV
Audio Bitrate: 8 kbps
Channels: Mono
Sample Rate: 8000 Hz
File Naming
Choose a file name that provides a clear and concise description, making it easy to identify later.
Creating a New Recording
To upload a new recording, click the "New Prompt" button and select the desired .wav file for upload.
To upload the WAV file, either drag and drop the file into the designated area or click inside the box to browse and select the file.
Note: While it is easy to manage a few files, we would highly recommend agreeing on a naming convention for all of your sound files. The last thing you want to do is struggle to find your file if you have hundreds of them.
Warning: This document pertains solely to sound files utilized within Logic+. For information regarding the use of sound files outside of Logic+, please refer to the document titled "Sound Files".
