Twitter Integration Setup Instructions
Sharpen Twitter Integration
Sharpen has created a new communication type that allows Twitter accounts to be associated with a specified Sharpen Q. Messages to this account will flow into the designated Q where they can be responded to as public Tweets or Direct Messages.
Twitter Integration Instructions
Hover your cursor over the Navigation menu in the upper left hand corner
Select Sharpen Store from the drop down menu that appears.
4. Select the Apps category
5. You will see the Twitter Integration and Facebook Integration Apps listed.
6. Click Twitter Integration
7. Select Configure and Install button
8. Twitter Connection page
9. Find the 'Select if you would like us to listen for public tweets only or public tweets and direct messages.’ drop down and make selection.
10. If selecting Public Tweets, select Authorize and Save
11. Authorize popup will appear in which you can authorize your account if logged in, or enter your credentials to do the authorization.

13. Follow steps in the above image:
1. Visit https://apps.twitter.com and log in with the Twitter account you want us to listen to
2. Click "Create New App"
3. Fill out the details of the application:
a. For the callback URL field use the following URL: https://apps.sharpencx.com/twitter/auth.php
4. After you create the application, you will be redirected to the management page for your app
5. On this page, under "Application Settings", on the "Permissions" tab, select "Read, Write and Access Direct messages" then "Update Settings"
6. Next, click on the "Keys and Access Tokens" tab
7. Copy and paste the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret into the matching fields below
8. Click the "Create my access token" button and then copy the "Access Token" and "Access Token Secret" values into the matching fields below
14. Select Save
15. From the upper left dropdown, select Admin.
16. On the Configuration Dropdown menu, select Sharpen Q.
17. Search for the Q you wish to associate and select Edit.
18. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and locate the Social Media Account Routing heading.
19. Select Unrouted option to Route to the Q and select Save.
20. Hashtags can be tied to a Q by selecting #hashtags and entering them into the drop down.
