Bulk Whitelist IP Addresses in Insights
Overview
The IP Whitelist Manager in Insights allows administrators to control which IP addresses have access to Dashboard links. While IP addresses can be added one at a time through the IP Whitelist Manager, this article covers how to add multiple IP addresses at once using a bulk import method through Sharpen Tables.
The user performing this process must have permission to view and edit Sharpen Tables.
Steps to Bulk Import IP Addresses
Navigate to Admin > Sharpen Tables.
Click on the App IP Whitelist table.
Select the Data tab within the table.
Click the More button at the bottom of the page.
Click Import Records. A modal will appear with the option to download a CSV template.
Download and open the CSV template. The file contains two columns:
ip__api — Enter each IP address you want to whitelist, one per row.
desc__api — Enter a name or description for each IP address to help identify it.
Save the completed file and upload it through the same Import Records modal.
Once the import is complete, return to the App IP Whitelist table and confirm the IP addresses have been added correctly. Also verify that they are displaying as expected within the IP Whitelist Manager in Insights.
