Creating a My Queue
A “My Queue” serves as a direct Q route to your Q users. Most commonly, the benefit is experienced for Q users who are also likely to receive direct calls to a DID. By default new users do not have “My Queues”, but can be configured by utilizing a simple API call.
First, download or access a REST Client like Postman or Insomnia.
Create a new POST request to:

The agent’s username can be retrieved from their extension configuration
go to Settings > Configuration > Extensions > Edit an extension
Once within the extension configuration, identify the username field. Use this in your api call.

The My Queue can be validated by checking the user Q configuration under “Manage Users”
