Editing an Existing User

Editing an Existing User

Overview

The Edit User page provides access to a comprehensive set of settings for an existing user account. Compared to the initial user creation form, editing offers significantly more configuration options across four sections: User Settings, Queue Agent Settings, Queues, and Skills. This article covers the User Settings section. Refer to the related articles below for guidance on the remaining sections.

To edit a user, navigate to Admin > Settings > Manage Users, locate the user, and click the Edit button to the right of their name.

User Settings

The User Settings section contains all of the fields available during user creation, along with several additional options that can be configured after the account has been established.

  • Mobile Number

    • Enter the user's mobile number. This can be used for contact purposes within the platform.

  • Default SMS and Fax

    • Set the default numbers to be used when this user sends SMS messages or faxes.

  • Profile Image

    • Upload a profile image for the user to personalize their account within Sharpen.

  • Email Signature

    • Configure the user's default email signature.

  • Account Contact

    • If this user serves as a primary contact for your Sharpen account, this designation can be set here.

Logging a User Out

If you need to remotely log a user out of Sharpen, for example, if they have left a session open, click the Log User Out button at the top of the Edit User screen.
