Bulk Whitelist IP Addresses in Insights

This article explains how to add multiple IP addresses at once to allow users' IP addresses access to Dashboard links.

From the IP Whitelist Manager modal, the user can add IP Addresses one at a time. In some instances a user would need to add multiple IP addresses at once. This is the solution that this article addresses.

Instructions

1. Navigate to Sharpen Tables, Admin > Sharpen Tables

2. Click on the App IP Whitelist table

3. Navigate to the “Data” tab of the table

4. Click “More” button located at the bottom

5. Click “Import Records”, this pops open a modal that allows you to download a template (this is a CSV file)

6. Download and open this file, you’ll see 2 columns: ip__api and desc__api

   1. ip__api - place your ip addresses in this column

   2. desc__api - place your Name/Description for each ip address in this column

7. Save the file after you’ve made your edits and import them through the same “Import Records” modal

8. View the table and confirm that the ip addresses have been added, also check the IP modal in Insights to confirm they’re displaying correctly there
