Polycom Line Key Customization

Polycom Line Key Customization

In some cases, it may be necessary to change the display of a Polycom phone to include additional lines, change the display names, or add additional external contacts. The references below indicate how to perform these modifications through the Polycom web configuration tool. These steps should be taken with caution since they do not align with the default configuration which Sharpen endorses. Should you run into issues, it is encouraged to factory reset the device and re-provision to the defaults. In addition, should you have your custom configurations in place and decide to factory reset the phone, the next provision will pull the Sharpen default configuration, requiring a repetition of these steps.

  3. Depending on your browser, you will see a variation of a security warning. Choose to proceed to the web page

  4. Authenticate using Admin as the user, and 6311 as the password

  5. Navigate to Settings>Lines
