Google Chrome microphone permissions

When using the Sharpen Q Phone, you must grant the application access to your microphone. If you do not allow access to the Microphone, the Sharpen Q Phone will be unable to function.

Permission Notification
When launching Sharpen Q Phone and making a call for the first time, you will receive a pop-up notification asking for permission to use your microphone. It will look like this:

When this pop-up appears you must click the Allow option. If you click Block you will be unable to use Sharpen Q Phone until you have removed the exception. If you click the X button you will be unable to complete the current call.

To validate settings following the initial prompt, simply click the lock icon to configure.

Clearing Exceptions
In order to clear the Block for the microphone, complete the following steps:

  1. In Chrome, navigate to chrome://settings/content

  2. Scroll down to the Microphone section.

  3. Default should be selected unless you want to use a specific device.
