Salesforce Sharpen CTI
What is the Sharpen Salesforce CTI?
The Sharpen Salesforce CTI allows you to integrate Click to Call functionality within Salesforce, as well as manage your Sharpen extension directly from salesforce.
Adding Sharpen Salesforce CTI
Navigate to the Sharpen Store.
Select Apps.
Select Salesforce Integration.
Click the Configure & Install button.
Configure your Salesforce Connection.
quickname - This is the name that will be referenced when working with the Salesforce connection.
username - This is the Salesforce user account that Sharpen will log in to. It is recommended to use an “automation” user account.
password - This is the password for the Salesforce user account that Sharpen will log in to.
token - This is the security token that was generated for the user account.
Click the Verify button. A new prompt will appear if verification is successful.
Follow the directions in the box and click the this link to install the CTI Package. If you are not already logged in to Salesforce you will be directed to login.
You will be given the following choices:
-Install for Admins Only
-Install for All Users
-Install for Specific Profiles...
This option will allow you to grant access per Profile.
After you have made your selection, click the Install button.
Depending on the amount of users, it may take a while to install. You may be given the option to receive an email once the install is complete.
Once the install has been completed, navigate back to Sharpen and click the I have installed the CTI Package button. A new prompt will appear.
You will be prompted to select which SFDC objects to import. The default objects are enabled by default, but you can add more via a comma separated list.
Click the Complete Setup button once you are finished.
Once the import is complete, a blue prompt will appear at the top of the page stating Success . You are now ready to use the Sharpen CTI in Salesforce!
