Managing Contacts

From OctopusCX Dashboard, you want to start by navigating to Contacts by: 

  • Selecting Quick Campaign from the application switcher

  • Navigate to Contacts on the navigation panel to the left

Once you have completed the steps above, you will see a similar page to the one below:

Filtering By Cellphone

To filter messages by cellphone number, enter the desired number into the appropriate filter option at the top of the screen.

Adding A New Contact

To add a new contact, select the Add Contact button in the page's top right corner.

To begin adding a new contact, enter the cellphone number of the contact in the appropriate field.

You can add an External ID for the contact in the provided field if necessary.

After providing the required contact information, you can add additional fields by selecting Add Field and assigning the appropriate field and value to the contact.

Finally, you can assign the contact to a specific contact list using the dropdown menu displayed here.

After completing all required fields, click Create to add the new contact.

Deleting A Contact

To delete a contact, locate the contact you wish to delete and click the More Options button. Select Delete Contact and confirm the deletion. Once confirmed, the contact will be permanently removed from the list.
