Managing Profile Settings in OctopusCX Agent
Start by navigating to Agents by:
Selecting Agent from the application switcher
Navigate to Profile Settings on the navigation panel to the left
You should now see a page similar to the one below.
Notifications
To have OctopusCX agent play message tones and display notifications, enable the Play message alert tone and Show desktop notifications. To prevent them from playing a tone or displaying notifications, have them disabled.
Menu layout
To have the section names always displayed on the navigation panel, select Always from the drop-down. To have them only visible when opened, select When selected.
Receiving messages while offline
OctopusCX can automatically take care of messages when you are offline. You can make it
Show the new message when you log back in
Move chats back to the queue for another agent to take
Move chats to another selected agent
Ignore the message
You can also notify a user or yourself via email by enabling Send email alerts and selecting the user.
To send an auto response, firstly enable the Send an auto response option. Then write in the message you wish to be sent.
Templates
To create a personal agent template. Click the + button at the corner of the templates section.
Next, enter the content you wish to have in the template.
Hit save and the template should be available when you need it.
