Using Voice Agent Messaging (VAM) in Contact Center Connect

From OtopusCX Dashboard, you want to start by navigating to Voice Agent Messaging by: 

  • Selecting Contact Center Connect from the application switcher

  • Navigate to Voice (VAM) on the navigation panel to the left

You should see a page similar to the one below after following the steps above

To start using VAM, you want to begin by entering your auth code. Your auth code combines your API ID and your API Password. These details have been given to you when your account has been first set up.

The following options are all optional. You will now be asked to enter the Destination number.

Next, you will be asked to enter the message.

Next, you will be asked to enter the tag. This number must be a number that has been text-enabled on the account.

Next, you can set the screen pop to only send once. If you don't want this to be the case then set this as false.

Next, you will be asked if you would like to enable the international code. By setting the option to 1, any 10-digit destination number will have a before it.

Next, you can chose which colour pallette you would like to chose. You can chose between Default and Social Miner.

Now that all the information has been entered, you can now click the test button at the top of this section. if your apiID and apiPassword were correct, you should see a new UI to the right like the one below.

You can also select a Template and/or Source Number for the screenpop if needed.

Once you are ready, you can hit the SEND SMS button to test the screenpop.
