Verified Toll-Free Messaging simply means that your business and use case has been reviewed in advance of sending traffic via Toll-Free, and you have received carrier approval for messaging via Toll-Free numbers to the US/Canada. This verification process is free of cost.

Verification greatly reduces the risk of message filtering on Toll-Free traffic toward all major networks in the US and some in Canada, as long as you adhere to your stated use case and all applicable rules.

This verification affects messaging to mobile users in the United States as well as the Fido, Rogers, Telus, and Videotron networks in Canada. 

• All fields on the attached form are required (field 12 may not be necessary depending on the response on field 11)

• Enter all phone numbers on this form up to five numbers

• Do not change the formatting of this form; do not change the field names

• Failure to follow these instructions will result in the aggregator rejecting the submission

• Submit a ticket via Octopus with the completed form attached

Field 5: Company Website NOTE: The TFN aggregator will explore the company website to ensure all aspects adhere to the aggregator's acceptable use policy (Twilio Acceptable Use Policy | Twilio ) and the disallowed content/forbidden messages categories (Forbidden Message Categories in the US and Canada (Short Code, Toll-Free, and Long Code) )

Field 11: Opt-in Description Note: Only the following opt-in types are accepted by the TFN aggregator: Online (for use when customer's opt-in via the web); Point of Sale (formally verbal; for use when a verbal conversation takes place with the end-user); Text to Join (for use when the end-user sends a keyword text)

Field 12: Opt-in Details Note: This is not necessary for Point of Sale but IS necessary for other opt-ins. Online: URL to website where end-users opt-in.
