TFN Verification Six or More Numbers

Verified Toll-Free Messaging simply means that your business and use case has been reviewed in advance of sending traffic via Toll-Free, and you have received carrier approval for messaging via Toll-Free numbers to the US/Canada. This verification process is free of cost.

Verification greatly reduces the risk of message filtering on Toll-Free traffic toward all major networks in the US and some in Canada, as long as you adhere to your stated use case and all applicable rules.

This verification affects messaging to mobile users in the United States as well as the Fido, Rogers, Telus, and Videotron networks in Canada. 

• All fields on the attached form are required except column D (Business_Addr2) and column S (Additional_Supporting_Documentation)

• Enter all phone numbers on this form, six to 1000 numbers. Do NOT use this form for fewer than six numbers, use form located at this link instead: TFN Verification One to Five Numbers External

• Do not change the formatting of this form; do not change the field names; ensure you save and send the form as a CSV

• Failure to follow these instructions will result in the aggregator rejecting the submission

Columns A-K: Read the text in the column headers for additional information, ensuring to following these instructions

Column L: Select one of the numbers to represent the monthly volume for each number, be certain that the number/amount covers the maximum monthly messages sent/received

Column M: Although the column header implies more than one number can be in each cell, do not enter more than one number per cell

Column N: Some examples of use cases include: MEDICAL NOTIFICATION; 2FA; ACCOUNT_NOTIFICATION; CUSTOMER_CARE; DELIVERY_NOTIFICATION; FRAUD_ALERT; POLLING_VOTING; PUBLIC_SERVICE_ANNOUNCEMENT; SECURITY_ALERT

Column P: This is an example of a message(s) the business sends on the number 

Column Q: Only the following opt-in types are accepted by the TFN aggregator: Online (for use when customer's opt-in via the web); Point of Sale (formally verbal; for use when a verbal conversation takes place with the end-user); Text to Join (for use when the end-user sends a keyword text) 

Column R: This is not necessary for Point of Sale but IS necessary for other opt-ins. Text to Join: Supply keyword(s). Online: URL to website where end-users opt-in. If website is inaccessible by external users, take a screenshot of the opt-in section and attach separately. Alternatively, post the image on a publicly available website and enter the URL here. Images cannot be saved in a CSV file as CSV files are text-only files.  

Column S: Not typically used but if more information is available to help the aggregator understand the TFN, enter is here

Columns T/U: Do not change
