Reset Password on OctopusCX Account

If you are unable to login to your OctopusCX account due to forgetting the password or any other reason as to why it may lead to an incorrect password, you may need to reset it. You first need to have the user's account email address and organization name at hand which was given to you when you registered the account for the platform or when provided by your organization administrator. 

Begin by navigating to app.octopuscx.com by clicking on the link or entering the link above into the browser URL. Once you have been directed to the platform, you should see a login page like the one below:

Begin by locating the "Enter your Organization Name" section and enter the Organization Name that has been assigned to your company. Normally, this will be your company's name. This information can be found in the email of the initial registration account. Please ask your organization administrator for this information if you do not know the Organization Name assigned to your company.

Once you have entered the Organization Name into the appropriate field, locate the purple "Continue" button below this field.

When clicked, you should then be redirected to a page asking for your "Email address" and "Password". This page has a "Forgot Password?" link above the purple "Continue" button.

You should then be redirected to a page asking for your email address. Enter your registered email address into the "Email address" field. Once entered, left-click on the purple "Continue" button.

A confirmation screen should appear informing you that an email with instructions has been sent out to the email address entered.

Now you want to navigate to your email address app and locate an email from "OctopusCX". In the email, you should be asked to confirm the password change request by either, clicking on the URL or clicking on the confirm button located below the URL. 

After confirming, you will be redirected to a new page with 2 fields. In this section, you need to come up with a password. Please take note of the password you would like to use for this account and do not forget it. This password will be used as a key to access your account every time you need to login. Please try to avoid adding any personal information to the password like your date of birth that can make your password easy to guess or obtain. Once you have a password in mind, enter it into the two sections displayed and ensure it is the same password for both sections. This is just to make sure that you have not mistyped your password. Ensure that the password contains the necessary characters and length for security reasons. 

Once you have entered the password and are ready to reset the password to your account, click on the purple "Reset password" button.

You should then be redirected to a page confirming that your password has been changed.

You may now return to the login page in which you can now sign in using the new password you have entered. If you need assistance with login, please navigate to Login by either clicking on the highlighted word login or navigating to it manually and following the steps provided.
