Linking a Report to a Chart
Overview
Any chart in Insights can be linked to a report, providing a drill-down path to interaction-level detail directly from the chart. This is useful when a chart surfaces something unexpected, such as a spike in wait times or an unusual interaction volume, and you want to investigate the underlying data without navigating away to build a new report.
Linking a Report to a Chart
Create a new chart or open an existing chart and click the Settings button.
Locate the Report field and select the report you want to link from the drop-down.
Click Save.
After saving, the chart will refresh. A Drill-Down button will appear in the upper-left corner of the chart. Clicking it opens the linked report in a new tab.
Linking a Report to a Big Number Stat
The process is identical to linking a report to any other chart type. The only difference is in how the link is surfaced; instead of a Drill-Down button, a small link icon appears in the upper-right corner of the Big Number Stat.
