Reference Lines

Overview

Reference lines add a fixed horizontal marker to a chart at a specified value. They are useful for visually indicating a target, threshold, or SLA directly on the chart, making it easy to see at a glance how the data compares to a defined benchmark.

Adding a Reference Line

  1. Open the Reference Line tab in the side configuration panel.

  2. Click the [+] icon to add a new reference line.

  3. Enter a name for the line, for example, SLA Target.

  4. Select the format: choose Integer for numeric values or Time for duration-based values (hh:mm:ss).

  5. Enter the target value, for example, 00:00:07 for a 7-second average wait time SLA.

  1. Choose a color for the line.

  2. Click Build to apply.

The reference line will appear as a horizontal marker across the chart at the specified value.

Editing a Reference Line

The target value and color of any reference line can be updated at any time. Return to the Reference Lines tab, adjust the desired settings, and click Build to apply the changes.
