7. Reboot the phone.

Provisioning Troubleshooting

If both steps above are correct factory reset the device by doing the following steps:

  • First ensure that you have had Sharpen provision your devices when purchased

  • Press the "OK" button on the device and hold for 10 seconds until the prompt to factory reset appears.

If using the Yealink W52P Cordless Dect handset do the following

  1. Press the "OK"button on the handset

  2. Go to "Settings"

  3. Scroll down to "System Settings"

  4. Select "Base Reset"

  5. Enter Pin "0000"

  6. Press "Done"

Phone Says Initializing and never comes up

  • Check to make sure your router is set to hand out IP addresses via DHCP (we do not support static networks for our phones by default)

  • Check your internet connection to ensure the phones are connected to the Sharpen service

  • Method 1: Via web interface.

    1. Login in the web UI of the phone

    2. Go to Settings ---> Upgrade page, press Reset to Factory Settings

    3. Press OK to continue, press Cancel to quite. During the reset period, please DO NOT power off the device. Otherwise it may cause damage to your device. The whole process may take a few minutes. Please wait. After that the device will back to factory default.

  • Method 2: Via phone.

    1. Press Menu Softkey.

    2. Go to SettingsAdvanced UI, input password to enter.

    3. Select Reset to Factory option. The LCD screen will prompt with: ”Warning, Reset to Factory Setting”. Press OK to continue.

    4. Or long press the "OK" button about 5s in idle status. 

If using the Yealink W52P Cordless Dect handset do the following
